Up And To The Right?

I think it’s plain that our American idea of infinite growth and progress is hitting its upper limits. Late stage capitalism with extreme wealth disparity. At a crucial tipping point environmentally and running the other way. Our already ineffective governments are being cannibalized. There’s no more graph up and to the right. 📈

What if we opted out of the pursuit of endless growth. What if we started building resilient neighborhoods that grow their own food, generate their own electricity, build affordable housing, and invest in each other?

Might we find space to take a breath? Might we find we aren’t on our own? Dare I say - might we find a more just and sustainable American Dream?
